Livonia Recreation Center
I teach several yoga classes weekly at the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center in Livonia, MI. You can view and sign up for my classes HERE. Drop-in passes are available as well for purchase at the counter upon arrival. Click here for a map!
Classes offered at this location:
- Slow Flow – This class is designed for all levels. We will begin by focusing on the breath, gently warming up the body, and then move through a challenging standing sequence with options for beginners and advanced practitioners alike. After moving through both sides of a standing sequence, we will cool down with a sequence of restorative yoga postures and a brief rest.
- Mondays 9:30am-10:20am
- Wednesdays 5:00pm-5:50pm
- Meditative Yoga – This class is designed for all levels. A slow-paced class, we will hold each posture for several minutes, focusing on the breath and sensations. A wonderful class to deepen the spiritual aspect of your practice and restore and rejuvenate your connective tissues in the body. Modifications and props will be used to help every student get the most from their practice.
- Relaxation Yoga – This class is designed for all levels. Focused on relaxing the muscles in the body using breath and awareness, students will be guided through gentle poses that stretch and strengthen the body. Perfectly timed to set your mind and body up for a good night’s rest.
Northville Community Center
I teach drop-in classes at the Northville Community Center. They only accept cash, $7 per class. Click here for a map!

- Yoga Flow – This class is designed for all levels. - Saturdays 8:30am-9:30am, drop in $7 cash only
- Restorative Yoga – This class combines somatic, yin, restorative, and nidra practices, ideal for refreshing and resetting the mind and body. Through gentle movements, soothing stretches, and calming meditation, participants experience a feeling of renewal and revitalization, fostering a sense of tranquility and balance to embrace the week ahead.
- Saturdays 9:45am-10:45am, drop in $7 cash only
- Yoga FUNdamentals – This class focuses on basic yoga postures and techniques such as breath work and mediation to help beginners and advanced practitioners receive the most benefit from their personal practice. Discussion and questions encouraged during this light-spirited return to the simplest elements of yoga.
- Fridays 8:30am-9:30am, drop in $7 cash only
- Soulful Flow – One hour yoga class integrating breath and movement while featuring a combination of Sun Salutations along with poses from the Ashtanga practice. Some yin poses to balance out the practice. Open to all levels. Fully guided. Bring water and small towel.
