Summer Session at Livonia Rec Center

The summer session starts June 16th and runs through August 18th at the Livonia Rec Center! You can register for the session online or purchase a drop in band at the front desk to attend a single class. Weekly Schedule at a Glance

All of these classes run weekly and are available for drop-ins!

  • Mondays at the Livonia Recreation Center
    • 9:30am Slow Flow – fully guided, full yoga practice with standing and seated sequences
    • 10:30am Meditative Yoga – deep, focused attention to fascia and connective tissue in long holding poses, yin yoga
  • Wednesdays at the Livonia Recreation Center
    • 5pm Slow Flow – fully guided, full yoga practice with standing and seated sequences
    • 7pm Barre Fitness – dance based fitness class with ballet inspired strength building
    • 8pm Relaxation Yoga – themed around relaxing the mind through releasing tension and stress from the body via breath work and light stretches
  • Fridays at Northville Community Center
    • 8:30am Yoga FUNdamentals – a grounding class with mostly poses practiced low to the mat, building awareness and stability throughout body & mind with gentle strength building and stretching
  • Saturdays at Northville Community Center
    • 8:30am Yoga Flow – slightly more fast paced than my slow flow classes, with 10 more minutes to build heat and then relax into a long, well deserved savasana
    • 9:45am Restorative Yoga – deep, focused attention to fascia and connective tissue in long holding poses, yin yoga

About Me!

My name is Kathleen, or Leena (the yogi), and I am really just so VERY passionate about yoga, the philosophy, the breath, the movement, and the energy… but most of all, I love sharing yoga with others.

I study, practice, and teach a variety of styles of yoga, ranging from fast-paced vinyasa flows to slow and meditative yin yoga. I think there is a style of yoga for everyone, and each yogi should determine what parts of the practice serves them and which do not. I’m here to help guide you to what can serve you best in your personal journey towards wellness in mind and body.
